ConnCAN's three 2009 legislative goals—funding to grow high performing charter schools, teacher quality and education transparency—do not operate in isolation. They are key elements of the Virtuous Cycle of School Change in Connecticut, of which Hartford's public school system under Superintendent Steven Adamowski is a model.
The end result is more great schools, fewer failing ones and improved quality for those in-between.
